Common questions
Do I own the website?
Your domain is always yours. The site itself we run as a service — to own it outright, buy it out for 12× the monthly fee once your current 6-month period ends (earliest after six months) — for Simple that's kr 5 388 ex. VAT, and the site is yours. You then get all the source files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the images with usage rights, ready to host with any provider. The sites are built as clean, lightweight files — no proprietary platform and no lock-in, so you're always free to take yours elsewhere.
What if I want to cancel?
No minimum term. Cancel before the next six-month period and the site stays up until the period you've paid for ends — nothing more is ever charged, and the remaining prepaid time isn't refunded mid-period. You keep your domain either way.
I'm not technical — is that a problem?
That's the whole point. You send us a logo, photos and a bit of text — we do the rest. Need a change later? You just email us.
What if I don't have text or good photos?
You don't need any. A few bullet points about what you do are enough — we write and polish the copy for you from a short chat. No photos? We use quality stock images until your own are ready.
What about the domain and email?
The domain is registered in your name, so it's yours no matter what — we help with the practical side. The domain itself (typically kr 100–200 a year) is paid to the registrar and comes on top of the monthly fee. Want email on your own domain ([email protected])? We help you set it up with e.g. Google Workspace or Domeneshop.
How long does it take?
Most sites are live within a few days of us getting your content.
Do I see it before I pay?
Yes. We show you a live preview to react to before the site goes live.
Why not just use Wix or a Facebook page?
You can — but then you spend your own time on it. We build, host and look after the whole site for you, make it fast and findable on Google, and you never have to think about it. Your own site also looks more professional than a Facebook page.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, security, backup, uptime monitoring and up to 3 small content changes a month. Billed six-monthly in advance.
What counts as a small change?
A text tweak, updated prices or contact details, swapping an image, adding a team member or updating your opening hours — typically something we do in minutes. Bigger things, like a whole new page or new functionality, are a small separate job we quote a fixed price for first. Unused changes don't roll over to the next month.
What kind of SEO is included?
We set up the technical foundation: page titles and meta descriptions, clean URLs, a sitemap and robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data (Schema.org) and Open Graph for tidy shares on Facebook and LinkedIn. We register the site in Google Search Console so it gets indexed. We don't promise the number-one spot — that depends on the competition in your industry — but the technical side will never be what holds you back.
How fast is the site, and how is it built?
We build the pages as clean, lightweight code — no heavy CMS or page builder slowing things down. That means very fast load times and strong Google PageSpeed scores. The site is delivered over a global CDN, so it stays quick wherever your visitors are.
What about privacy and GDPR?
The site uses no tracking or marketing cookies, so there's no annoying cookie banner to click away. We don't collect personal data about visitors, and the contact form sends the enquiry straight to your inbox. The details are in the privacy statement.
