Agentas Timesheet: hours in one tap a day

A timesheet app for the phone and the PC that replaced a spreadsheet. A ready-made day is confirmed in one tap, flex, overtime, leave and Norwegian holidays follow rules written as tested code, and Claude can draft the day from the work that was done, for a person to confirm. Built by Agentas, and the Time app in the Agentas Suite.

What it does

One tap a day

The day screen shows a ready-made day to confirm in one tap, and one short typed line adds an entry with its times and project. A week grid and a month view show the rest.

Norwegian rules as tested code

Flex, leave, overtime at 50 and 100 percent, Norwegian holidays worked out from the date of Easter, self-certified sick days and the 48-hour average over eight weeks are all calculated in code with their own tests.

Claude drafts the day

Claude can read the day's work, such as commits and coding sessions, and write one to four short lines as a draft. The draft shows on the day as a suggestion, and nothing counts as worked until a person confirms it.

Works offline

Hours are saved on the device first and synced to the server, with clear rules for conflicts: the newest change wins, and a refused change is never thrown away.

Ready for the customer's own system

A week can be copied in the shape a customer's own timesheet system wants. The plan is shown first, and a person sends the week.

Money stays hidden

Pay and amounts are masked until you choose to show them, so the app can be open on a shared screen. Sign-in is passkey only.

  • A timesheet app for consultants: hours per customer and project, confirmed in one tap a day, with the week copied into the customer's own system.
  • Time tracking with Norwegian rules: flex, overtime at 50 and 100 percent, Norwegian holidays and the 48-hour average worked out in tested code.
  • An offline timesheet on the phone: hours are saved on the device and synced when there is a connection.
  • AI that fills in the timesheet for you to confirm: Claude drafts the day from the work that was done, and nothing counts until a person confirms it.

How it works

  1. 01

    Draft

The day arrives ready-made, or Claude suggests it.

  2. 02

    Confirm

One tap confirms it, or you change a line first.

  3. 03

    Calculate

Flex, overtime and holidays follow tested rules.

  4. 04

    Hand over

The week is copied into the customer's own system.

How it's built

Agentas Timesheet is a TypeScript app that works offline in the browser on IndexedDB and syncs to a Node.js server on SQLite. It was built in about eight days, gave exactly the same monthly totals as the spreadsheet it replaced, and runs as a read-only container with a daily backup kept for 14 days.

Claude works with it through an MCP server with scoped tokens: one that can only read a week, one that can read everything, and one that can also write. Each conflict rule in the sync has a test that failed on the old code before it was fixed, and every push runs type checks, unit tests, browser tests and a start of the built image before it deploys.

Engineering highlights

  • One tap to confirm a day
  • Norwegian holidays, flex and overtime covered by 30 tests
  • Claude's draft counts only after a person confirms it
  • Works offline, with tested conflict rules
  • About 100 unit tests and 14 browser tests on every push

Questions

Can my company use Agentas Timesheet?

Not as a product today. It is our own tool, and features for teams are not built. We build timesheet and admin tools like it for businesses.

Does Claude decide the hours?

No. Claude only writes a draft for the day. Nothing counts as worked until a person confirms it, and the draft can be changed line by line first.

Which Norwegian rules does it calculate?

Flex, leave, overtime at 50 and 100 percent, Norwegian holidays, self-certified sick days and the 48-hour average over eight weeks. Whether those rules apply to a given job is for the employer to decide.

Want something like this?

Agentas Timesheet shows how AI can take the dull part out of admin work while a person still signs off on every hour.
