Software for the public sector — critical, secure, and yours to keep

Control software for critical infrastructure, internal tools that replace manual process, and AI that can run entirely on-premise — built for municipalities and public bodies where data sovereignty and reliability are requirements, not preferences.

What you gain

Built for critical reliability

We already deliver control software for infrastructure where downtime affects a capital city, not a monthly report. The same standard applies to your systems.

Data that stays in the country — or the building

Where a public US cloud is not acceptable, we can run software and AI entirely on your own hardware, behind your own firewall. Sovereignty by design.

No lock-in, yours to keep

You own the software and the data, we document and can hand over — important for procurement, continuity, and answering to the public.

Less manual process, more capacity

Automation and internal tools that take the repetitive administrative load off people, so scarce staff time goes to the work that needs judgement.

How we build it

Agentas develops the control software and operator screens behind critical municipal infrastructure — currently a backup water supply for Norway's capital, delivered for OneCo Technology — with the reliability discipline that work demands. For administrative systems, we build internal tools and automation that replace manual process, and where sensitive data cannot go to a public cloud, we stand up private AI (open-weight models like Llama, Mistral and Qwen) that runs entirely on your own hardware with private retrieval over your own documents.

Private, on-premise AI is offered here as a capability for exactly this setting — where data sovereignty is a hard requirement. It is the same agentic engineering and operational discipline as our cloud work, with the data kept inside your walls.

What you can count on

  • Delivering control software for critical municipal infrastructure today, with reliability as the first requirement.
  • Private on-premise AI and self-hosted software so sensitive and personal data never leaves your control.
  • You own the software and data, fully documented — built for procurement and long-term continuity.

Questions

Can the AI run without sending data to a foreign cloud?

Yes. We can run open-weight models entirely on your own hardware, behind your own firewall, with retrieval over your own documents — nothing leaves the building. This is offered specifically for the public sector and other sovereignty-bound settings.

Do you have experience with critical public infrastructure?

Yes — we develop the control software for a backup water supply for Norway's capital, delivered for OneCo Technology. The same discipline used offshore, applied where a city depends on it. See the E1 case study.

How does ownership work for a public body?

You own the software and the data outright, and we document everything so it can be operated or handed over independently. No per-seat licence, no vendor lock-in — which matters for procurement rules and long-term continuity.

Can you reduce manual administrative work?

Yes — internal tools and automation that take repetitive, rule-based process off people are often the quickest win, freeing scarce staff time for work that needs judgement. We scope it small and honest, and can run it on-premise.
