Software for energy, oil & gas — offshore-grade, onshore too
From subsea control systems on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to automation and data platforms for energy operations onshore — Agentas delivers software with the discipline the sector runs on, and the AI-native speed it does not usually get.
What you gain
A supplier who knows the sector
Delivered on active NCS developments for operators, EPCs and integrators — the terminology, the testing regime and the stakes are understood from the first meeting.
From seabed to spreadsheet
Control logic and operator screens at the process end, and the integration and data platforms that carry the numbers up into business systems.
Faster iterations than the sector expects
AI-native delivery means short lead times and quick iterations — without giving up the FAT and commissioning rigor the work demands.
Security and sovereignty by design
OT/IT separation, layered defence, and the option to run private AI on-premise where data cannot leave the site.
How we build it
Agentas' founder has served as Software Lead on subsea control systems for Siemens Energy and delivered automation across major Norwegian energy and infrastructure projects. That means control logic on Siemens platforms, operator screens in WinCC, platform-to-seabed communication, and integration of valves, sensors and hydraulic power systems — all tested through FAT and simulation before commissioning. On top of that industrial base, the AI-native practice adds modern automation, LLM systems and data platforms for the same operators.
Few software firms can speak both languages — the offshore control room and the modern software stack. That combination is exactly what an energy operator digitalizing its operations needs, and it is what Agentas is built on.

Questions
Have you actually delivered on offshore projects?
Yes. The founder has been Software Lead on subsea control systems for Siemens Energy on active Norwegian Continental Shelf developments, with wells brought into production. The case studies name the projects.
Can you help us digitalize existing operations?
That is a sweet spot: we understand the control-system end and the modern software end, so we can carry data from the process up into automation, dashboards and AI without a translation layer of consultants in between.
How do you handle security for critical energy infrastructure?
With OT/IT separation, layered defence and access control designed in from the start, and the option to run everything — including AI — on-premise, air-gapped, on your own hardware. Security is part of the design, not a review at the end.
Are you big enough for our project?
Agentas is a senior, AI-augmented practice — one accountable engineer working alongside AI agents rather than a big-agency queue. For focused, high-stakes software that means direct access, short lead times, and no account-manager layers. For scope beyond that, we are honest about it up front.
